 | About the Author Cheryl Kennedy was born and raised in St. Albans, Vermont later moving to Rhode Island where she currently resides with her husband of 29 years. Cheryl began writing after she was downsized from her job in the winter of 2008. In 2010 Cheryl published a short autobiographical book entitled The Year Off, which chronicled the year following her sudden job loss.
